These wooden iPad cases come in cherry, walnut or bamboo and with a user-friendly metal foot. Consider it a great gift for those dads in the world who seemingly have everything.
Gift pick of the day: Vers wooden iPad case
Gift pick of the day: D.L. & Co. candle set
Wean your mom off of those pine, peppermint and gingerbread scented holiday candles by gifting her with this equally Christmas-perfect and, yet, very sophisticated looking set of votives by D.L. & Co. They come in five gardeny fragrances: wisteria, primrose, white lily, freesia and hyacinth. She’ll want to save the medieval-inspired packaging.
Today’s pick: Five men’s coats that you could wear every day
When the weather turns cold, outerwear is often the only way you can make a real fashion statement on the street. These coats are polished enough for the office, cool enough for the bar, and warm enough for the frigid trip home. Splurge on one as a gift for the boyfriend or brother.

Pick of the day: The countdown to Chrismukkah begins
The Christmas lights are up on Oxford Street, the weather has finally turned cold and Starbucks has rolled out the Gingerbread and Eggnog Lattes. It all leads to one dreaded question: Have you started gift shopping yet? No? To help you get in the retail spirit of things, we’ll be posting a different gift idea, every day, for the next seven weeks. First up, Vivienne Westwood’s tartan plaid hardbound notebooks, which would be perfect for the office secret Santa. Made in Italy, the diaries are filled with blank, recycled paper, which makes them a great gift for all of your environmentally conscious loved ones too.
Trend of the week: The silk blouse
Whether it comes with a pussy bow, military style pockets or soft ruffles, the shirt of the season must be silk and slouchy. Style it with equally relaxed trousers the way this woman spotted in Paris did above, or underneath a structured blazer.

Kate Moss for Topshop
Kate Moss’s final Topshop collection goes on sale today. And it’s chockablock with limited edition pieces that are just glamorous enough for the holiday party circuit.
Yes, we’re going high street crazy today. In what is shaping up to be the longest roll-out ever, H&M continues to tease us with more looks from its Lanvin collection.
Hightail it over to WWD’s 100th anniversary gallery now to see this hilarious photo of a young Karl Lagerfeld working very tiny shorts and serious fashion face in the gym.
Today’s pick: Wooly Fair Isle knits
Fair Isle, the eccentrically patterned, unmistakably geeky Scottish heritage knit, has had quite a comeback. But for the record, only designs that originate from Fair Isle in Scotland’s Shetland Islands should technically be termed with the name. Here are some of the most authentic men’s Fair Isle style sweaters on the market. (And ladies, these would look perfectly great on you too.)

Men’s boots for all kinds
Rugged jeans and a flannel shirt are the more obvious and safe match-ups for a pair of boots. Raise your game by wearing the footwear with a tailored suit instead, as pictured here.
Boots of all types are popular for autumn/winter right now. It doesn’t matter the style: hiking, brogued, military-inspired, you name it. The most important thing is to show them off. Cuff your trousers or tuck them into the boots. But a word of advice: if you choose to tuck, just beware of that all too contrived, laces artfully undone boy band look.

Only a few more weeks until Lanvin for H&M hits stores on November 23.
Having some seriously warm, fuzzy feelings about the I Love My Hair Sesame Street clip and its Whip My Hair remix.
James Franco is not only a visual artist these days, he’s also remarkably good at applying stage makeup.
Based on this sneak peek, the Lanvin for H&M line looks like a greatest hits collection (chunky cocktail jewelry included? hope so!) with a cheaper price tag.
